Should you have questions...

• May I bring my beau?  While our Siren School activities are for sirens only, public excursions are co-ed, so if you'd like to bring your sweetheart to share your room and island experience, please feel free to do so
• How & when should I arrange for your optional activities and outings?  As soon as you've made up your mind to book, in order to ensure availability.  'Whim' decisions made on the spot will be accommodated to the best of our ability
• What is the nearest airport?  Kona International Airport... into which you will want to fly.. is approximately 10 miles (20 minutes) north of the resort
• Shuttle service to the Resort from the airport - The Resort does not provide a shuttle. Transportation to the Resort is either by shuttle bus companies, rental car or taxi. Taxis cost approximately $30 one-way. Speedi Shuttle is available to pick guests up at the airport and drop them off at the hotel lobby. Prices vary by number of passengers sharing the shuttle.
• How far is the nearest town?  The Resort is conveniently located within walking distance to the village of Kailua-Kona with its many fine restaurants, shops, historical sites, and activities.
• Do you have Internet access? The Resort offers wireless internet access in the rooms and lobby area. Wireless access is available for those guests who have their own laptop and wireless card for $12.95 per day; or for $49.95 per week. Internet fees are charged online directly by the wireless company, not by the hotel. Fees are subject to change without notice.
• Babysitting - The resort doesn't have a babysitter on property, but the front desk has a referral sheet of licensed babysitters in the area.
• Bell service - The Resort provides bell service for guests who would like assistance with their luggage. The Resort's Alii Tower is seven stories tall and the adjacent Bay and Lagoon Towers are six stories tall. The Resort has two elevators per tower.
• Smoking - The Resort, in compliance with Hawaii State Law, is a 100% non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not permitted in any public outdoor areas with the exception of the Lagoon Terrace, the Sunset Cove, and in a designated smoking section by the pool. A cleaning fee will be charged to those who violate this policy.
• Check-ins and check-outs - Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; and check-out time is 12:00 noon. However, if the room is ready, the Resort will allow the guest to check-in early on the day of arrival. The Resort might extend the check-out time one or two hours, but because they usually need to get the room ready for newly arriving guests, it may not be possible. The guest needs to check with the front desk clerk. The bell staff will lock up baggage so the guest can go sightseeing or eat while waiting for their room or before departure.
• Room service - There is no room service, but the restaurant has a convenient take-out option available for guests to call in and pick up.
• Taxes - General sales tax in Hawaii is currently 4.166%. This tax is added to most sold items in Hawaii including food and beverage. Hotel tax in Hawaii is currently 9.25% on the daily room rate. The combined hotel tax and the state sales tax is 13.4166% which is added to the daily room rate. Taxes are subject to change without notice.
